We’re thrilled to share that Garden Apartment – Burwood Brickworks has been recognised at the 27th Urban Development Institute of Australia (UDIA) Victoria Awards for Excellence. The program highlights quality and innovation across the urban development industry.
Our project with Frasers Property Australia scooped up two awards – winning the Design Excellence and Medium-Density categories.
The UDIA VIC Jury commented:
“Frasers Property Australia’s development of the Burwood Brickworks is a large landscaped residential development integrated within the Burwood Brickworks shopping centre and cinema complex. Its architectural teams include Hayball, NH Architecture and Rothelowman. Their attention to detail, and the ability to overcome a range of problems, including building over an old tip, impressed the judges. The final product is a thoughtful, and complex response to a difficult site which provides excellent liveability to its residents.”
