We’re thrilled that Marshland School in Christchurch, New Zealand, has been honoured with an Education Award at the 2017 NZIA Canterbury Architecture Awards.
With locally-based design partner Stephenson & Turner, Hayball completed the masterplan and developed the concept design, interior design and learning settings. Both a primary and intermediate school (to year 8), the new school is entirely located within one building, uniting the school and promoting collaborative, flexible learning spaces.
Canterbury is one of eight regions hosting NZIA local architecture awards. As a regional winner the Marshland School project will now be considered at the national level.
